Summer
is truly here! The flowers are blooming, and the veggies are growing. Don't get too comfortable because there's always something
to be done. And if you're anything like me, you want the Summer to be beauty and last forever. To keep everything in your
Garden looking great for as long as possible, you need to give it a little bit of extra attention right now. By
September you'll be glad you did. Check our our great Garden products,and make those improvements NOW!
There's
nothing like the first signs of Summer. It is truly the wonder of nature unfolding each and every day.
As the weather continues to get warmer there is more and more work to be done. It's time to
get that compost pile cooking again. Yes you will need that compost for all our Summer Plants. So spring into action,and
lets all get the work done before it's gets too hot.
It's Summer,now in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Its the
beginning of July, and the wood has to be cut and put away for next winter.
We live at beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee,and are surrounded by mountains.
This is vacation land in the summer and winter. In Spring you can smell the the maple sap running from the trees,and smell
the spring Flowers blooming. In Summer we have Weirs beach,the Water Slide, and Fun sport. We also have one of the oldest
Drive-In's in the nation. In Smmer there is Hiking,swimming,boating,gifts shops,good food,FREE concerts,Fireworks(every Sunday
Night)and many other things to do. You can spend your days on a lake cruise. There is 72 square Miles of water with boat tours
on the lake running daily. The Mt Washington has evening cruises with Dinner and Dancing Entertainment. You can fish for the
big one. Play on Weirs beach or stroll through town poking into the interesting shops in Laconia. Also,in June we have motorcycle
week. On morotcycle week their are some 50,000 to 75,000 motorcycles in Laconia,NH. The fall foliage is spectacular, framed
by blue sky and blue water. In winter there is skiing(downhill) or cross-country skiing,snowshoeing,ice fishing,and sitting
by a warm fire reading. In winter you can also watch ice boats race or walk among the ice-fishing shacks that appear as small
villages. In winter(February) we have an ice fishing contest,and a weekend of Dog sled racing. This State has lakes,mountians,and
the ocean only an hour's drive from most part's of the State. Below you will find a link to the attractions at Lake Winnipesaukee.
We have been hiking , skiing(cross-country),snowshoeing for about 20 years now . We feel that we have some good information
